The new Cosentino City Madrid, located on Paseo de la Castellana, served as the location for the charity auction held last night by the Official College of Madrid Architects (COAM) to support the Social Assistance Fund (FAS).
Aimed at helping college members in difficult situations, the charity auction featured a notebook containing the sketches of the prizewinning works from the 2017 COAM Prizes and the Montblanc mechanical pencil used by the architects to draw them.
The charity auction was arranged in partnership with the Cosentino company, which provided Cosentino City Madrid’s main location for the event. The company had previously contributed by providing the Montblanc mechanical pencil used to draw each one of the sketches in the auctioned notebook.
Santiago Alfonso, Marketing and Communication Vice President for Cosentino Group was present at the event, while COAM was represented by Board Vocal Patricia Fernández Häring. More than 40 people, including architects and professionals of the building industry attended and participated in the charity event.
The auction of the notebook and the Montblanc mechanical pencil was closed for 6.600 euros by COAM together with the contribution of Carlos Rubio Carvajal, Gabriel Allende Gil de Biedma, Belén Moneo Feuchi, Santiago Alfonso (Cosentino), Pablo Olalquiaga Bescós and María Vázquez Molezún, Pepe Barrero (COAM), Eva Gil Lopesino and Carlos Palacios Rodríguez (Elii) and Patricia Fernández Häring (COAM).
